Eight Men Out occurs as moving picture, freed inside 1988, based on a book, published inside 1963, of the same title by Eliot Asinof. These are the dramatization of the Black Sox scandal when eight members of the Chicago White Sox conspired with gamblers to purposely lose the World Series. A pic was directed by John Sayles.
